OK Comics lend out Graphic Novels for Free. You can borrow one for a period of two weeks, read it, bring it back, and borrow another. There is a fixed range of books available.

How long can I keep them for?

Graphic Novels will be available for periods of two weeks, giving people ample time to read, enjoy and digest the stories. Take them home, to work, to the park; anywhere you’d normally enjoy your comics. They’re yours to use as your own for the two weeks you’ve got them.

How do I take advantage of the service?

Just come along to OK Comics, 19 Thorntons Arcade, Leeds, and see what’s available. There may be something you’ve had your eye on but been reluctant to splash out on. Now’s your chance to dip into a wide range of graphic novel series’. If there’s anything you’re unsure of our staff will be happy to help.
To sign up we need your name, email, phone number, one piece of identification showing your address, and one piece of photo ID.
And we need your credit card details as a deposit. No money is taken unless you opt to keep the book. This service is only available in store.

What’s the catch?

No catch. The aim of this service is to get as many people as possible to read comics that they may have otherwise overlooked.
